Say I Love You
For those who wish that Valentine's Day did not exist
Maybe for personal reasons or you don't have a tryst
Could be you've encountered a whirl wind of fire
Or just maybe, you lack endorsement of desire
Each year you walk through the catacombs of your mind
And swear up and down it's only a waste of time
The thought of love really warps your sense of direction
Maybe It's time to walk to the mirror and cast a new reflection
Yes, it's you that ripples back with those beautiful eyes
As if unwrapping a present and receiving a wonderful surprise
The curves and lines help to distinguish who you are

A bit too late
From the brilliancy of the golden fire
Stands a flower basking in the warmth of desire
The petals painted with fibers of air
Each stroke laced with immaculate care
Softness to the touch of the wandering hand
Glides along the silken strands
The beauty that lies beneath the skin
Releases fragrances held within
The aroma drifting along with the breeze
Each petal reaching for someone to please
An ingenious craft that shares the daylight
Then hides it's beauty in the darkness of night
Could not it be, a woman in red?
Wrapping her arms around your head
Pulling you close to moisten your lips

A Hug vs. a Kiss
To hug is when arms wrap around your body and each electrical field is broken, sparks begin to fly like a Tesla coil. The finite fingers of electricity pull you close, wrapping you with the warmth from a cheek, meshing with bodies like a smooth change of a second-hand of a watch. Life's deficiencies
have presented me with a scarce look at reality
and for me to dwell in a passage that inspires
I must convince myself to render my humble past.
To constitute a new beginning,
I must confer with myself then take a simplistic look,
only to cower and remember our last perpetual kiss.
My humble past awakens me
as I reminisced of a pervade
that seemed to elude my consciences thoughts.
To usurp my admonishment helps me
to protect my tears that tend to flow
like streams if not rivers freeing from the falls.
The infallible symmetries of the sandy beach cooled my body
as your hand alacrity bestows
To know that life contains specs of blueness
like the sky beaming to your eyes,
vibrant for the moment as billowy clouds obscure the pureness,
radiating towards the ground quarreling to release the rain.
It skips along the water, reflecting light like that of mirror,
although not quite the same as blue becomes green,
greens becomes yellow, and yellows becomes brown.
Excitedly, fish swim in it, some jump, and others spawn
while others fear for their life
as you sit and ponder through the amazement of it all.
Puddles become streams and streams rush like rivers
speaking in tongues that proverbial language
not so familiar to most.
